SRW GC translation is alive, and so am I

This blog has been dead for three years so I doubt anyone will see this, but I figured I'd make a post just in case. I pretty much abandoned all of this years ago due to a combination of burnout and life issues taking over, but recently I've been wanting to come back. I'm not gonna take any new projects for the time being, but I got back to working on the Super Robot Wars GC translation project, which unfortunately had fizzled out after I disappeared. Over the past few days I translated a few more stages, getting up to stage 25. Below are some screenshots:
Unfortunately I don't know if the rest of the team is still around, namely Dashman and Bring Stabity. I made a thread on /m/ about this to see if they show up, though it's understandable if they don't since it's been years. I can finish all the dialogue cutscenes on my now, but it will be difficult to figure out the rest (menus, title cards, etc) if I'm on my own. We'll see what happens though.

Some doujin releases

Anonymous at /m/ bought and scanned some Symphogear doujins, so I went ahead and translated one of them. I don't normally do small releases like this, but I haven't posted anything in a pretty long time, so I figured I might as well make a release post for it. I end up translating any more, I'll just edit this post to add them.
Edit: Added Hiyomofu.
Edit 2: Well I ended up doing a Yuru Yuri doujin as well, so I'll just make this my "general doujin release post" for now. If I make doujin releases a regular thing, then I'll start making individual release posts for them. Also, I'm totally fine with these being uploaded to Dynasty, if anyone wants to go and do that.
Edit 3 (2016/03/12): Added Niji to Hana ga Tsumuida Kiseki.

- [Adult!] Niji to Hana ga Tsumuida Kiseki by Hiruandon/Tsuta no Ha (Symphogear): Download
- Mousou AROUND by Kohaku. (Symphogear): Download
- Hiyomofu  by Zwei (Symphogear): Download
- Amahima-Sakusaku ~13 Years After by Room#7001 (Yuru Yuri): Download

Kurogane Pukapuka Tai volume 3

Thanks to swedish_kitsune from /u/, who scanned this volume, I was finally able to translate it. The bad news, though, is that this ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, and the next volume is probably not coming out until the middle of 2016, estimating by the release dates of the previous volumes. So unless someone scans chapter 31 from the magazine, we're not gonna know what happens next for a really long time.

Dancouga BURN volume 2

I finally get to release this. I wanted to have this out about a week ago, but unfortunately I got a little busy.
This series is done now, it's just the two volumes. It was actually better than I expected in the end, but judge for yourself.

Dancouga BURN volume 1

This sequel (sort of?) to the original Dancouga series came out in the 90s, way before Dancouga Nova was a thing. I think the raws have been around for a long time, but nobody was translating it, so I figured I'd do it. There are two volumes, the next one will come soon.

Iczer Densetsu

All right, I finally manage to release something again after a period of forced inactivity. This is Iczer Densetsu by Toshihiro Hirano. It's not a sequel or prequel, but rather a reboot/alternate version of the Iczer series that's not directly related to any other work. Unfortunately this series was discontinued after this one volume, but for anyone who likes the Iczer series it's an interesting read to see what could have been.

Mazinger Otome Taisen

Well, I managed to finish this one pretty quickly. This is obviously the sequel to Mazinger Otome. Again it's only one volume long, but it's really awesome. Enjoy.

Mazinger Otome

Here's a new release after a long time. People suggested this series to me back when I released Mazinger Angels, but I couldn't find any raws to work with. Recently a cool guy on /m/ provided some though, so I was finally able to translate it. It's only one volume long, but there's a sequel called Mazinger Otome Taisen which the guy also scanned, so I'll be working on that next.

Cutie Honey a Go Go!

Here's a new release, and this one was kind of a handful. It's just one volume, but it's a pretty long one. These scans are from the "complete edition", by the way; I've never seen the original, "incomplete" version, so I don't know exactly what's different, but supposedly this one has better closure, though it still doesn't actually conclude the story. I guess you can look at it as kind of a throwback to the original series though, which ended on a similar note.

Twitter

I've created a Twitter account @OppaiMissile to make it easier for people to contact me if they want to. I was gonna set up an e-mail instead, but I'm already pretty bad at checking my personal mail regularly, so having another one probably wouldn't help matters much.

I haven't used Twitter before, but it seems simple enough. I'm probably not gonna say much aside from announcing releases, though. This is mostly just to have a channel for people to reach me other than the comments section here.

Kurogane Pukapuka Tai volume 2

And now for something a little different. The first volume of this series was translated by Wings of Yuri years ago, but that group has since gone inactive. The volume can now be found on Dynasty Reader. Raws for volume 2 have been available for quite a while, but no one seemed interested in translating it, so I decided to do it myself. This is not the end of the series, but volume 3 is not out yet (this series comes out veeery slowly, there were three years between volumes 1 and 2, and there are no magazine scans as far as I know).

By the way, if anyone wants to upload this to Dynasty, I won't mind.

Super Robot Wars GC translation project

I don't think anyone actually check this place to know what I'm doing, but I figured I should post something so it doesn't look like I've abandoned this translation business. The reason I haven't picked up any more projects since the AGLS release is because I'm now involved in an effort to translate the Gamecube game Super Robot Wars GC, together with some awesome guys from /m/ who found a way to make this translation possible (though it will only work on an emulator, not on a real Gamecube or Wii, unfortunately). I might post details later, this is just a placeholder for now.

Anaheim Girl's Love Story translation released

Well, here it is, it's done. I think. This is the full release, though I might make revisions to fix any errors that are spotted or whatever.

As I said in my first post about this, this is NOT a translation patch, it's an external translation to be read alongside the game. Do read the instructions on how to use it, though I think I managed to make it fairly simple. By the way, this is of course only the translation, not the game itself- I will not be offering a download to the game, go search for yourself if you want it.

About future projects

Okay, people have been inquiring a lot about future projects, requesting suggesting series and stuff, so I figured I'd make a post to clear a few things up.

First of all, I can only pick up a series for translation if raw scans are already available. I don't scan the raws I use myself, I work with what I find on the Internet. I guess I'm pretty good at finding stuff, I can use Share and Perfect Dark which helped me find some kinda rare scans in the past, but there's a lot of manga out there that just don't get scanned at all. In which case, there's nothing I can do.
Second, I have to like the series. This is basically what it comes down to, I'll translate stuff I really like and want more people to read. I'm a one-man group, so it's entirely up to my own taste. You can get an idea of what kind of stuff I like from my projects so far, but I don't plan on being dedicated to any one author or genre.

At the moment, I have a few series I'm looking into as possible future projects, but I won't mention anything by name until I'm sure I'll do it. I still have to read them before I decide what I'll do, and I want to finish AGLS before I do anything else, so it'll be a little while before I make any announcements. Just stay tuned I guess.

Mazinger Angels Z volume 2 (END)

Again, this is the sequel to Mazinger Angels. And it's already over. Yeah, this series is only two volumes long. And it ends abruptly, like the author had to finish it in a hurry. Maybe it got cancelled or something, I don't know. It's still pretty fun, though.

For some reason, the raws I found for this volume were much cleaner and sharper than the others, which made it a bit easier to edit, and also caused most pages to compress a little better as png, which is why they're in that format. Saved about a whopping 4mb total. True story.

Mazinger Angels Z volume 1

This is the sequel to Mazinger Angels. I'm just releasing the entire first volume at once this time.

Mazinger Angels SERIES COMPLETE (Ch.28 and vol.4 batch release)

If you're looking for just chapter 28, it's here.
I had to upload the volume 4 batch in two parts because it went a little over Mediafire's filesize limit. Also, I've replaced volumes 1 to 3 with new versions; several pages were re-edited to conform to the standards I've adopted while working on volume 4. But I've made no changes to the translation (other than changing "Silene Mode" to "Sirene Mode", which I decided makes more sense, and also seems to be the official spelling), so if you already have the old versions, there's really no need to replace them, unless you're about as OCD as I am.

This series is followed by Mazinger Angels Z, which I will do next.
